Royal Brackla 25 Year Old - 46% 70cl

Royal Brackla 25 Year Old is first matured for 25 years in opulent first-fill Bourbon barrels and then finished in PX Sherry Casks to augment and elevate its incredible flavour profile.

This whisky is full of splendour: the impact of maturing for over two decades in the first-fill bourbon and finished in PX has created a mighty dram cloaked in velvet.

Royal Brackla places particular emphasis on the influence of sherry casks.The distillery style lends itself perfectly to sherry finishes, as to Malt Master Stephanie Macleod.

"Our aim is to perfect this art and create the finest sherry cask finished whiskies. We only use the best casks from the bodegas of Jerez in Spain. This whisky, which has spent over two decades in first-fill bourbon casks, was finished in PX sherry casks, giving it rich and sweet fruity syrupy notes with accents of dried fruit and roasted coffee, balanced by a light, spicy acidity. The result is an impressive, sumptuous and luxurious whisky with a wonderfully smooth and velvety mouthfeel."

It's been bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered with natural colour.
