Ron Mulata Gran Reserva Anejo Rum 15 Year Old 70cl 38% This rum is really something to be savoured. When you first open the bottle, your nose is greeted by a beautiful honey smell, a hint perhaps to the overall sweetness. The first thing you'll notice on your palate is the toffee and Hazelnut flavours, with the initial heat. The heat does quickly dissipate however, making this a pleasant experience even if you're not a usual rum drinker. This, like other Ron Mulata Rums are in my opinion, best served chilled rather than room temperature. The finish is long and leaves you with hints of sweet vanilla.
