Length: 6 1/8
Ring Gauge: 52
Flavour: Medium to Full
Packaging: 1 single cigar

The Romeo y Julieta Piramide is the first release from an exciting new concept from Habanos s.a: AÑEJADOS (Aged).

Not only is the vitola new to the brand (Piramide: 6 1/8"(156mm) x 52), the cigars have also been box aged for between 5 to 8 years in the perfect humidity conditions of Cuba. This will afford the cigars a mellower, more refined taste as the blend of the leaves meld together over time realising their full potential.

The cigars are presented in dressed boxes of 25 and carry a second band to identify that they are AÑEJADOS. There is also a sticker on the box lid and like other Habanos Specialities, supply is limited to the quantity initially laid down to age.

The other vitola released to launch the concept is the Montecristo Churchill AÑEJADOS which will be available very soon.

Wow - just wow. What I have just smoked, I think, has been one of my most favourite cigar experiences ever. I had to write a review as the others seem a bit ‘down’. Consistent, buttery smooth almond flavours; nothing harsh whatsoever; a smooth resistance to it when drawing it in. I smoked it right down to it almost burning my fingertips. First and last thirds didn’t look pretty - uneven burn that needed touching up. Had it with a coffee on this gorgeous sunny Easter Sunday in the UK. Best cigar I have had for a long time (approx 1.5 hours of smoking).

I find it strange that the others rated it so low. The cigar is a mellow light to medium body cigar with nice woody creamy notes that in the last third turns in to a mild vanilla. I have a few in my humidor and are a stick I pull out when I just want to chill out and relax. I admit they are very expensive for what they are and there are much better cigars for the price but if you happen to have one you can’t really go wrong

Hate to join in on the hate but do not waste your money on these. Bought two for a stag do and neither of us even finish half. No flavour, tight draw and overall bad experience - Do not waste your time.

..... this is a tough one, RYJ are he mainstay of my smoking.... But, buy anything, spend your hard earned cash on anything but this. Acrid, thin and lacking anything to save it.... oh apart from the draw was good. Honestly poor.

Does ages mean past it? Apparently it does! Harsh, sour veering on bitter. Sadly couldn't wait for it to be over. Scouring the Internet many seem to agree. Very disappointted.
