Not what I was expecting from this brand. Needed touch ups a few times and had an uneven burn through most of the smoke and the last third became rather spongy.
The flavours itself was nice and not to spicy and smooth, just disappointed in the quality.
Have smoked Romeo y Julieta for a while now, mainly the short Churchills. However the Belicosos is such a smoother smoke. Would recommend this cigar to anyone!
Not many people smoke this vitola which make it better constructed and amazing age tobacco. Sweet, mellow, honey and leathery. David - C.Gars Ltd Cigar Ambassador
If you can get your hands on a few aged R y J Belicosos, then you are in for a bit of a treat.Having been a long time fan of these,I have been disappointed with the releases for some time.Pre 2000,these were, earthy, spicy, woody little numbers, with depth and blend complexity, but over the past few years…
A medium - mild bodied cigar. The constructon was good, but the wrapper seemed a bit dry. There are notes of leather , friuit (berries), and long spicey finish. A nice cigar, but a bit mild for my liking.
