La Rica Tubitos Cigar - 1 Single

Very pleasant and well built little cigar that leaves a sweet taste in the mouth.

I wrote a review for this about a month ago, but it seems to have disappeared. This cigar is the best quality for the price that you can get. Ive now smoked 6 of them, every single one well-made, no problems. Mild but full flavour with nice complexity. Burns steadily with firm ash. Plenty of smoke. Doesnt get hot, even down to the end. The ring comes off easily when you want it to. No bitterness or harshness whatsoever, just quality. Very pleasant after-taste and room note. You can really tell that a lot of thought and care has gone into these. Thoroughly recommended.

I love the La Rica brand. I have never had a bad experience with them until I ordered some of these !!!. Out of the seventeen I ordered probably four were ok the others had differing problems from virtually impossible to draw to very bad tunnelling. With some of them I gave up and through them away after a short period of suffering with them. this has not put me off La Rica, I do love the larger sticks, but I would not recommend these at all. Not up to the standard I have come to expect from one of my best loved brands.

Bought as part of a selection for my first ever purchase of cigars. Took 20mins to finish. Firm in the hand, nice aroma to the smoke. Ash held on forever and required flicking. Ok for three quid, but nothing that would make me want another one. The cigar I would say was inconsistent in its construction as it didn't burn evenly but this is just my opinion as a complete novice.

Received my first order of a mixture of cigars from cgar this morning and if I am being honest was a little disappointed with the size of this cigar, for some reason I thought it was going to be bigger. So this afternoon I choose to smoke this one and wow was I surprised. What a great little cigar it was. Lovely creamy taste from the first draw all the way to the end. Loads of sweet smelling smoke which my wife enjoyed and a nice slow burn which lasted about 30 minutes. Just goes to show how first appearances can be so wrong.
