    Quintero’s smooth, medium bodied taste makes it ideal for those seeking to experience the flavour of Havana at an affordable price.

    It is one of the few Havana brands not born in Cuba’s capital city. Instead its founder Agustin Quintero with his four brothers set up shop in the south coast city of Cienfuegos, known as the “Pearl of the South”. The tobaccos selected for Quintero’s filler blend came from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta zones.

    All Quinteros are made using the ‘tripacorta, totalmente a mano’ – short filler, totally handmade technique.

These cigars are a great entry into the world of cigars, mine had a nice even burn throughout the 30/40 minutes it took me to smoke the cigar, the aroma from the burn was pleasant although that is not a sting point of mine. The taste on the other hand was great now I'm no expert so I'm not going to start rambling on about the 1st 3rd and so on however I got a bit of a sweet creamy taste, however as I smoked this after a meal I suspect this could have been caused by a mixture of the smoke/drink and meal itself. Overall if you are entering the world of cigars I would recommend this as a sampler pack. If you are an smoker looking for a reasonably priced cigar then I would say don't expect it to blow you away but definitelygive it a try.


A very simple stick. Both the Panetalas and the Brevas are somewhat sloppy in construction but generally good even burners. A nice simple hay/sweet tobacco flavour carrying a little peppery spice. Left for a few month and these are lovely little cuban smokes.


One of my favourite day cigars.. Lasts around 30-40 minutes, one of the most enjoyable sticks I have smoked and for the price you really cannot complain. •DRAW - Nice easy cigar to smoke. It does have a good draw and burns evenly with a firm grey white ash. •SMELL - Malty grass to the smell. Earthy Aroma •TASTE – Full flavours of grass, a sweet yet mild overtone is constant throughout with just a hint of pepper •ROOM AROMA – Very pleasant and pleasing – old musk

