Puffin Cigars - Shorty - Box of 10

Today's treat. This has Mitchell Orchant all over it! Beautifully presented and shouting care and attention. A really nice wrapper, no marks or blemishes expertly applied and with that lovely slight sheen that I love to see. Even the cap is a work of art. The band is cool as well, nice bit of design. Stands well shoulder to shoulder with the Mitchellero Robusto in its appearance and build quality. Cold draw, light and easy. I like it but others will want a little more restriction. Flavour, hints of what's to come but no one thing standing out. Bring on the flame. First draw, different and confusing, took another straight away. This stick was different. I've smoked a lot of Nicaraguan sticks over the last couple of weeks and this is a big change I think. Not super experienced with Honduran leaf, and usually as a component in a blend but this stick tells the story. The main thing I got was that smell and taste when sitting around a log campfire and the wind delivers you a hefty portion of smoke, this is not a bad thing just a change from the norm. This very slowly built over the thirds and by the time I got to the final third I was quite enjoying it. This was tempered with some nice medium spice which again was not the norm. I was getting the tingle on the sides and tip of the tongue and the roof of the mouth but absolutely no burn on the retro hale even with a full draw. Will I buy another? Well I've got to just to try and work out what it's all about. Did I enjoy it? Well yes, I guess I did, it was quite an adventure. If you fancy a really well made and presented cigar that will entertain you for 40mins and give your Grey matter a work out I really reccomend this stick. I will be seeking out some more Honduran offerings after this ice breaker. Nice one.

A decent cigar for the price, with a mellow flavour and a good smoke plume. An enjoyable everyday cigar that's well worth the money. I'll definitely keep an eye out for any future sales and stock up when they're available.

Just had this 1 it was very nice will get a big 1 next time

Purchased several months ago whilst it was priced at £13.99, receipt number 01-046541 for reference, so that points may be assigned. The C.Gars brand offers a budget new world smoke which is both easy to enjoy and stylish in appearance. Worth buying a box for an everyday smoke.

I realy enjoyed this smoke mainly because of how mellow it was there was no strong peppery bite just smooth the flavour remained steady and enjoyable throughout The burn was even from start to finish making it a satisfying experience The smoke lasted around 1 hr 20 wich felt just right Overall this has been one of my favourite smokes in quite a while
