100° Proof is a cask-strength Islay from Port Askaig.

With notes of sweet fruit, peat smoke and minerality, this is a great benchmark Islay whisky at an even better price.

Nose: Rich, with a meaty smokiness. Freshly cooked ham and burning logs are joined by a soft coastal character.
Palate: Milky coffee, delicious milk chocolate and spicy cinnamon. The spice soon grows and as it does, liquorice and stewed apples are added with more cinnamon, along with a heavy charcoal smoke.
Finish: Sweet, spicy and very long. Cinnamon-spiced as chocolate slowly fades.
