Another impeccably constructed Plasencia, even fill, lovely oily wrapper. Used a V cut, had a perfect draw, just a touch of resistance, burn was even throughout with a single minor correction needed. Smoke output was good, not massive amounts but it was dense and satisfying. Lots of earthy black pepper but not really spicy, some nice charred oak and leather alongside smooth coffee as time progressed, lovely touch of sweetness as an ongoing background note.


Well built cigar. Nice cold draw. Smoked via a large punch cut. Held its ash well. Reasonable well burnt. Had to touch up twice. Not much spice on the lips, fair amount of smoke, but not enough for the amount I personally prefer, but a nice enough aroma. Not a lot of taste, but did get occasional tastes of rubber, but not unpleasant. Don’t think I would smoke again.


Well constructed and beautiful looking wrapper. Gorgeous aroma, and nice cold draw. Lit well and fairly good level of smoke produced. Ash held well. Burn consistency is good. Sweet taste on the lips from the wrapper, and quite a sweet taste from the smoke, at first but slightly bitter towards the end. Good nicotine hit. Lasted nearly an hour. Did burn hot so lost a point, but a value smoke.


A delicious cigar - I’ve tried pretty much all of the current Plasencia’s (big fan) and I keep coming back to this fabulous petit Robusto - perfect draw and construction, firm pale ash. I get sweet cedar, roasted nuts with faint pepper (which fades) Some oak with Christmas cake spices and Bakewell tart at the end. It smokes and (to me) tastes better than its bigger brother - must have had 10+ of these now - punches well above its weight for the price, totally agree with other reviews here

