Partagas Serie D No. 1 Limited Edition Maduro - Box 25s

A certain legend gifted me a box of these delicious cigars at Chritmas and I have smoked 9 so far and the rest are still resting themselves in the humi getting better and better. Medium to full flavoured, rich and delicious with their thick, oily maduro wrappers. The smooth, thick smoke floods the palette with wonderfully balanced flavours of dark honey, rich woods and as I have heard others describe "essence of black cherry". I have found the first inch starts slowly but after that it kicks up the gears and the woods and slight pepperyness build with subtle undertones of leather and cocoa develop. The final third is really nice with the spice becoming more prominent. The blend keeps it's clear Partagás style while being wonderfully unque from the regular line and one of the finest Limited Edition Havanas (...well Havanas in general) available. written by A. Dyer
