Loved this cigar. It lit well and delivered a mellow, almost sandal wood taste. Paired with a Shiraz on a warm summer evening on the patio, I was in the zone. A good 45 minute smoke that I was disappointed to finish and have to leave it in the ashtray to go out. Compared to a Montecristo or a Romeo…
The stick Ive got had a bad draw. Fortunately, I have a draw needle tool that fixed the issue immediately.
Earthy, very floral and spicy, with maybe a bit of pepper.
My first time trying a partagas, but cant say Im a fan, hence 3 stars.
My only and favourite cigar, when it comes generally in a Colorado/Claro wrapper and fresh. Generally not harsh but a sweet, creamy, spicy smoke, I just regret that it comes in some times a dry cigar instead. I like the fact that your shop is helping to deal the issue with this kind of problem.
Just had my first one of these. Bought them for a treat for myself on moving house. Really nice smoke, lights well nice woody and mellow taste. Really good down to the end. Got a bit sweeter towards the end but no harshness. Will enjoy smoking the rest of them. Had a nice Rioja with it.
