I am a big fan of the Oliva brand. But if I’m honest was a bit disappointed with the Maduro robusto. It has a perfect burn and ash holding but found the taste very one dimensional pleasant but not as good as others for example the Oliva aged Cameroon. Or the belicosso. Both are favourites of mine.…

I enjoyed this cigar, leather was certainly the most prominent flavour for me. In the second third I did get small choc and some coffee. I wish that lasted longer but it was mostly leather. A fantastic smoke. This cigar offers great value and gives me more than I expected from the price. Smooth chocolate notes and a strong nutty aftertaste towards the end. Draw was looser than I prefer but wasn't a problem. Will probably buy a couple more before making a decision about getting a box.
