I thought this was very unimpressive for a £50 odd cigar. As one review said, starts off very bland. I gave up after half. I thought the draw was tight and too mild, too smooth and really lacked flavour. Quite disappointed.
It was well constructed but burned a little unevenly.

First let me thank Montecristo, and (The Cuban people) so much for this great cigar. Medium body, the draw, burn, and construction are amazing. Varied bouquet of Flavors, aromas, and after tastes.. Such as ... earthy, woody, coffee, sweet, roasted nuts, chocolate, pumpkin, and rich smoke. I will…
I would just like to mention once again the exceptional customer service o received when I placed my order. Today Michelle brown was very helpful and knowledgeable as well as a pleasure to talk to Chars LTD

Easily the best among the open range. Although I do like the Open regata on occasions, this particular one is a lot better.
The cigar generally starts off a little bland but it builds to a brilliant finish. Give it a little time to settle in and Im certain youll enjoy it.
Impossible to smoke. Plugged, yet again. No draw to speak of. Had to finish, due to absurd cost. I will never touch a Montecristo again. On my life, what are these Cubans playing at ? Allones specially selected and Bolivar Royal Coronas have never let me down, so I’ll be sticking to them, I guess !
