In celebration of their 150th anniversary, maison S.T. Dupont have collaborated with Habanos S.A to create a collection of three stunning humidors.
The series is inspired by the Alexandre Dumas novel, the Count of Montecristo, as well as the world famous Habanos brand it gave rise to. MONTECRISTO L’ESPRIT The three humidors that make up this collection represent the three stages of night and act as a metaphor for Edmundo Dantes’ journey through the novel.
They are named Le Crepuscule (Twilight), La Nuit (Night) and L’Aurore (Daybreak). Just 200 numbered humidors within each series will be released, and each one will be filled with 50 Montecristo L’Esprit.
The Montecristo L’Esprit, 5 ¾” (145mm) x 50 ring gauge, is the same dimensions as the Partagas Maduro No.3 but is known as a Preciosos in the factories of Cuba.
Not only is each cigar dressed with a unique Montecristo band, bearing the name “L’Esprit”, they also have a footband with the legend “S.T. Dupont 150 ans”. The cigar will only be presented and available within this collection of humidors and is blended to the signature Montecristo flavour profile, using only the finest long-filler tobaccos taken from Vuelta Abajo, in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba
