The Macallan M Collection was created to showcase the 'Six Pillars' which encompass the distillery's guiding principles: natural colour, mastery, curiously small spirit stills, The Estate, exceptional oak casks and sherry wine.

Each expression is presented in a stunning Lalique crystal decanter, and at natural colour.

In the Macallan M Copper, the small stills gives the spirit ultimate contact with the copper, helping to concentrate the spirit to create a rich and robust character.

The M Collection release built around the curiously small stills. Because Macallan's stills are unusually small, the alcohol vapour has less distance to travel before it condenses, so the heavier vapours reach the condenser instead of falling back into the boil — and the spirit comes off dense and full-bodied.

That is the character the whole house rests on. The Lalique crystal decanter is copper-coloured for the stills themselves, and the spun gold in the glass is natural, not added.

Nose: Sweet banana, fresh pear, juicy white peach, malt biscuits, vanilla, and a subtle citrus freshness.

Palate: A buttery and viscous, mouth-coating texture with rich fruit flavors like pear drops, caramelised banana, sherbet, sweet malt, and spiced oak.

Finish: A long, serene, and elegant finish dominated by toasted oak and toasted marshmallows.
