A mighty fine single malt from Kilkerran Distillery!
Released in 2022, comes this 8-year-old single malt from Glengyle distillery.
Measured exclusively in 100% ex-Port casks before being bottled up at natural cask strength.
Please note, stock is limited from secondary market releases - 1 per customer.
Nose: The port influence is quite intense, masking some of the Kilkerran character. Big influences of cherry marmalade, cassis and even some aceto di balsamico. Ending on nougat, mocha and a hint of leather.
Palate: More smoky now. Earthy whiffs, jammy fruits, plenty of caramel and some light notes of straw enhanced by coffee grounds and liquorice.
Finish: Lingering oak spices and syrupy winey notes.
