Terms & Conditions
The competition is open to customers who purchase any full-size 70cl bottle of Kilkerran online between 24/06/2026 and 24/07/2026. Winners will be selected at random in a draw conducted after the closing date.
Kilkerran's heavily peated spirit is delicious and we're glad to see another batch reach shelves.
Nose: A strong maritime influence. The sweet peat smoke is intense and welcoming as it fills the glass, like a smouldering blackened marshmallow on the campfire. There is a floral earthiness reminiscent of our native blooming white heather.
Palate: Complex. Peat smoke dominates with malty undertones of crushed digestive biscuits. A liquorice note develops as it opens up and there is a hint of sweetness, like sticky honey glazing.
Finish: The finish is long with the strong peat smoke influence remaining alongside malty, cereal characteristics. A slight oakiness is detectable and coastal maritime flavours endure.
