JUAN LOPEZ
A Spanish businessman named Juan Lopez Diaz founded his eponymous brand in the 1870’s.
Although little known around the world today, Juan Lopez has always attracted a following amongst aficionados of Havanas, most notably for the Selección No.2 size.
The brand offers a consistent medium to full flavour based on a rich blend of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone and both sizes are ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano’ – long filler, totally handmade.

As Robustos rule these days, it is hardly surprising that the Seleccion No. 2 is the star size in this brand. Plenty of spicey and chocolaty notes combine with a classic Cuban earthiness.
Nice wrapper, great taste, excellent draw! Not to be underestimated. Fantastic flavour, this is a real gem of a cigar.
