Jose Piedra Selection Cigar Sampler - 5 cigars

I have tried all cigars from JLP, I visit the cannerie islands a few times a year where they're around €10 for a pack of 5.. At that price I keep stocked up! These cigars are very hit and miss, I probably throw away 3 out of every 20 as they are too tight to smoke. But the remaining ones are generally wonderful for the price. A mellow Cuban smoke with earthy spicy flavours and a good burn. Lasting around 45 mins if you go steady. A good tip is to let them age in your humidor for at least 9 months at about 65% r.h - this really brings the smoke to life. All in all a lovely smoke when you get a good one.
