Exclusively found in the Johnnie Walker Blue Label reserves are a small number of precious casks from Ghost Distilleries – iconic stills that have ceased production forever.

From this library of liquids, which are the very last of their kind, our Master Blender Jim Beveridge has hand-selected the most interesting and artfully blended them with other exceptionally rare malt and grain whiskies found in Blue Label to make these truly unique nearly extinct Scotch Whiskies even more extraordinary.

The first special release in the series is Brora & Rare, an 8 whisky Blue Label blend with Single Malt from the renowned Ghost Distillery Brora at its heart.

Notes in the official press release talk about an aromatic, mellow whisky with a full body that is characterised by ananas, hazelnut and dark chocolate aroma and a lightly smoky finish.
