Peder Jeppesen first started work crafting pipes as soon as he left school in 1977. He started his work with Karl Ottendahl and shortly after that Erik Nording, who he worked with for 18 years. In the late 90's he had a dream and an ambition to create his own brand. In 2002 he achieved this by setting up the Neerup workshop, and with the help of the internet and the ever growing interest in pipes he grew his brand.

Peder's philosophy is that all the pipes he creates must follow established Danish pipe design features. Whilst relying on his own experience, Peder also follows strict disciplines in share, proportion and paying great attention to detail to each of the working processes. This starts from the moment he picks up the raw block at the start, all the way through to the staining and finishing of the pipe. This way he can be sure that every single one of the 4500 or so pipes he makes annually will be one he is proud to offer to his customers.
