Willie Cochrane came to Jura in 1977 expecting to stay two or three years but thirty-nine years later he’s still here having worked his way up from an engineer who knew nothing about whisky to a distillery manager like no other.
It’s with much sadness he leaves Jura in 2016, but what he leaves behind is a legacy like no other. Fortunately, before he goes there’s just time for One for the Road.
Aged for 22 years with a Pinot noir finish - this Jura is a non-chill filtered whisky meaning it retains a natural cask strength, colour and overall taste.
There is limited number of 5000 bottles available globally with just 672 bottles available in the UK.

Finish: Turkish delight, coffee esque, fig syrup and cherry cake.
