La Invicta Nicaraguan Robusto Cigar review
5by50Ring Gauge

Just because its a bundle cigar doesnt mean Its not a good cigar!

I found this handmaid Cuban seed Nicaraguan cigar to be packed full of rich, beautiful oily flavors that will satisfy any cigar lover and for only 6-7:50 it a grate deal!

The cigar contusion is classic to the new wold cigar type. Well packed (firm) but soft and oily to the touch. When I lite the cigar the smell was grassy, woody, with a solei and cider aromas. The drew of the cigar was perfect far better then I would of thought and the burn was razor sharp. The ash held for about 3, with a nice white to gray colour.

The taste was as good as the smell, rich medium body cigar with woody and solei characteristics to the smoke. And the amount of smoke it gave of was grate. (I like a cigar the gives good smoke out put for the foot of the cigar)

Well what ells can I say! I love this cigar and I hope you do to. But remember when you try a cigar never say you dont like it. Why because every thing you do, eat, drink, who your with, where you smoke it, every thing affects the cigar.

As a cigar aficionado I found some cigars I try I dont like the frist time and them try them again and I love it.

So go out try some thing new, pick up a La Invicta Nic cigar and most of all enjoy your cigar!

Thank you.

This is a damn good cigar. Burns well, holds together till the last draw and the price for such quality is unbelievable when compared to other mote expensive brands. Just became a fan!

Have now tried both the Petit Corona and the Robusto from La Invicta and they have both been very enjoyable smokes. Do they stand up in a direct comparison to some of the more popular Habanos cigars? No, but when you compare the cost of these cigars (especially when bought in bundles) you will appreciate the tremendous value for money. Ive only been smoking for around a year but my personal experience with Cuban cigars has been hit and miss when it comes to quality control and consistency, I dont feel like Im getting my monies worth from a 13-20+ Cuban cigar every time. My experience with La Invicta cigars has been consistent and I think thats incredibly important with a luxury product like cigars. Just bought a bundle of 25 which should keep my humidor stocked for a few months at least. Solid woody/earthy flavours from start to finish with some nuttiness and spice from time to time, as other reviews noted this cigar goes really well with a nice cup of coffee.

Fairly new to cigar smoking, smoked the occasional cigar in the past and thought lets get in to this pleasurable pastime a bit more. Well here we go! Nice constructed cigar, lit well and burned well. Had to relight once, but that could be because I take my time smoking and I was just short of an hour. Initial taste great, very smooth and pleasant but I felt the taste started to leave a bit just over half way through the cigar. Even ash burn and held well, good 2cms before it needed to come off.

I thought this was an excellent smoke. As a returner to cigars (King Edward VII imperial devotee in the 1980s) this one had an easy draw and only needed a small snip and lasted me nearly half an hour to the label - it was a great outdoor break on a long bike ride in the sun, quite a few different woody notes. Surprised to see comments above about quality as mine perfect, even burn and well constructed. Will definitely be coming back to these.

I dont have a whole lot to say about this cigar. For the price, I think its good. Handmade, good construction, burned evenly with good draw. But the flavours werent spectacular. There was the usual nutty flavours along with a hint of caramel, but not a lot else. It reminded me of a big cigarette to be totally honest so, for that reason, I wouldnt reorder.
