After having smoked the Independencia double corona quite a few times, I decided to give the Piramides a try. The flavors of this one are butter smooth and sweet as always, though not particular full bodied in my opinion. A nice white ash, cool smoke and clean, even burn makes this a truly relaxing cigar. However, about half way through the cigar, tar balls start to emerge... nasty, bitter tar balls! A quick wipe and cut did the trick for several minutes, but they just kept coming back (and I was running out of cigar to cut). The smoke ended disappointingly early because of this. Apart from looking nice, I will never understand the point behind these shaped tips. Don't get me wrong, this brand is extremely good, especially considering the price! But personally I would recommend one of the other Independencia cigars, either the double/half corona or robusto just to be safe (though your mileage may vary!)

I am not an expert but this is an easy draw one of the most even burning cigars. I have had a couple and both had at least an inch of ash before falling of leaving cigar with nice cone text book. Might not be as full or as strong as otherS but I liked them FOR THE MONEY YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG!!
