I found this budget cigar to be quite coarse, no depth or complexity and a very one dimensional smoke. Very average. I'd favour a machine made Dutch cigar over these I'm afraid. It is a budget cigar but my goodness for (literally) a couple of pounds more one can buy wonderful cigars.
The wrapper was faultless and the stick had a solid feel and construction pre-light. The first 2 thirds were surprisingly sweet and nutty with the final third becoming slightly bitter. Nice quality, even burn and thick smoke. Starts with a bang of strong spice, but still pretty smooth with a pleasing woody aroma and the light menthol tone that I adore in a good cigar. I do prefer cigars that are less peppery on the palate however, but if you like that you will love these.
