Highland Park distillery is a Scotch Whisky Distillery, based in Kirkwall, Orkney. Highland Park is the northernmost in Scotland, just half a mile beyond the Scapa distillery.
The folks at Highland Park, honour the spirit of their Viking ancestors, sharing their pride, integrity and fierce independence, and distill their award-winning whisky to the same exacting standards.
This 17 year old single malt is classic Highland Park, with flavours similar to Freya in the Valhalla Series.
This stunning expression evokes the elemental power of ice and celebrates the Viking heritage of Orkney - the home of Highland Park distillery.
The Ice Edition comes in a unique bottle which brings to life The Ice Realm and its mythology. It is made of a stunning blue-tinted glass with a faceted shape. The bottle features a Norse symbol - the creation of the world.
Highland Park Fire:
Highland Park Fire Edition is a special release 15 year old single malt which has been matured in 100% refill Port wine seasoned casks – a first for Highland Park.
This follows on from the release of Ice Edition and completes the two-part series of special edition bottlings which celebrate some of the myths and legends emerging from the Viking age.
Highland Park Fire Edition is bottled at 45.2% ABV and is all natural colour, limited to 28.000 bottles worldwide

Highland Park Ice:
Nose: Aromas of cool, fresh pineapple and ripe mango sorbet come to life while silvery shard of smoke soon give way to the frosty kick of root ginger.
Palate: Powerful yet smooth. In true Highland Park style, the combination of misty peat smoke is intertwined with vanilla seeds and spices.
Finish: Beautifully balanced. The creamy, rich, oily finish quickly snowballs into a long and lingering woodiness with spices which provide a scintillating and harmonious whisky to savour.
Highland Park Fire:
Nose: Vibrant and intense aromas of ruby red fruits and warm vanilla complement the fiery sweetness of cinnamon bark and the smouldering richness of delicious dark chocolate.
Palate: Light smoke with striking zesty dried peel and temperate vanilla flavour. Intoxicating spices and the sharpness of damsons entice and enchant your taste buds.
Finish: Intensely balanced, the long, lingering sweet finish magnifies into a sizzling fruity spiciness, providing a bewitching and standout whisky to enjoy.
