First released in 2014 and part of the Hazelburn core range, this is a 10 year old bottling of Hazelburn single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank distillery in the Campbeltown region.

It is triple distilled, matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV.

Three malt whiskies are produced at Springbank Distillery, each with its own character. Springbank which is 80% of production, is lightly peated and distilled two and a half times. Longrow is more heavily peated and distilled two times. Hazelburn is unpeated and distilled three times.

Nose: Stewed pears and baked apples are then followed by honeycomb and delicious fudge notes.

Palate: A lovely and rich whisky with vanilla and honey flavours as liquorice then follows and with it, brings a refreshing zestiness.

Finish: A refined milk chocolate cream finish that is oily and chewy.
