The regular Hamlet is a straightforward smoke that lasts around 6-7 minutes, which makes it handy when you donÂ’t want to commit to something long. The flavour is pleasant enough, not too heavy, and IÂ’ve got a real soft spot for them as they remind me of my grandad, he always had one on the go, and the smell instantly takes me back. Each one comes in its own cellophane, theres no need for a humidor, and theyÂ’re perfect to keep in a pocket or take fishing. Not fancy, but thatÂ’s the charm. ItÂ’s the kind of cigar that feels tied to simpler times, and I always enjoy that about them.

