    GUANTANAMERA

    Guantanamera cigars are a relatively new cigar having been created and released in 2002, this cigar is now one of our most popular budget priced Cuban cigars.

    The brand was named after perhaps Cubas' most well known song "Guajira Guantanamera" (Spanish for peasant girl from Guantánamo") by Joseito Fernández which can be heard in just about every bar in Cuba every evening.

    The Guantanamera range comprises light strength machine-made cigars using short filler tobacco from the lesser Vuelta Arriba region.

    Guantanamera cigars have pre-cut heads, a cigar cutter is not required.

  • New in 2009, the Minutos is the latest tubed cigar from Guantanamera. Made by using the best blend of tobacco leaves from Vuelta Arriba.

A very nice short substitute for the Cristales.Lasts about 35 minutes.Good draw and does burn evenly.Great flavour.Try with TullibardineThe Murray.


Not a bad budget cigar to be honest. It’s light, gradually gets a little peppery after the first third. There’s not much smoke to start but this will improve after the first third. It doesn’t have an overpowering taste or room note and it comes pre-cut. Can’t really complain about convenience. Or the price.


Amazing value - simple enjoyable smoke. These are machine made, short filler, so very consistent cigar. Perfect draw, plumes of falvoursome, fragrant smoke and perfect choice for daytime or early evening. Great, mild and smooth intro to cigar smoking, but anyone will enjoy this for what it is.


Was not impressed...felt like a well built cigar. The draw was too light for me, not enough smoke from what I'm used too. The filler was too loose for me...ended up having to spit bits out after most draw. It had a pretty even burn. During the smoke,it had a woody earth taste. 1st and last one for me.


After being pleasantly surprised with this one's big brother (the Guantanamera Cristales), I thought these smaller ones would be worth a try. Unfortunately, the build was poor and the taste was ashy and un-enjoyable. A friend who also smoked one with me felt the same. Pay a couple more £ and go for the Cristales instead.

