Description

This single malt comes from the Glenlivet’s ‘Sample Room Collection’. It’s the work of the company’s master distiller, Alan Winchester.

 

Finished in first-fill Oloroso Sherry, Tronçais Cognac and Colheita vintage Port casks, The triple cask finish on this precious Single Malt brings extra layers of depth, smoothness and intriguing spiciness to The Glenlivet’s iconic smooth and fruity style.

Luscious notes of caramelised pears and juicy sultanas intertwine with fragrant nutmeg and warming cinnamon deriving from the Cognac cask influence.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Caramelised pears and juicy peaches, spicy notes of cinnamon and fragrant nutmeg.

Palate: Complex, fruity and spicy, with notes of dried apricots, juicy sultanas and chocolate- coated ginger.

Finish: Long and rich with warming spice.
