From Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection a 1977 vintage Glenisla, aged for 34 years in a single hogshead.
Glenisla was a short-lived experiment to produce a smoky Speyside malt at Glen Keith, Speyside. Among very rare independent bottlings of Glenisla, Mr Charles Maclean found lots of ‘honey-glazed ham’ but little peat.
Distilled on the 7th July 1977, (7/7/77) then bottled at natural colour and strength on the 11th of November 2011, (11/11/11). Someone put a bit of thought into this one for sure!
Each bottle is individually numbered with a yield of only 274 bottles.
This bottle is number 52 of 274.
Please note as this is a vintage bottle, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary - Some years can vary as estimations only (example: estimated 1970s/80s).
