This distillery has gone by many names over the years and was even a grain distillery for a period.
Primarily used in blending particularly for VAT 69, the distillery closed in 1985 but in an odd turn of events the maltings which were built in 1968 are still in operation, owned now by Boormalt, and the distillery itself has been demolished.
Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary - please note label conditions.
A fruity Highland malt, think refreshing berries as the nose is a sweet one. Fruit continue through as mandarins soon make an appearance with honey.
The finish is a relatively long one, sherried oak finish.
