. Ideal for those seeking a taste of the extraordinary, the Glencadam 15 miniature promises a delightful journey through its unique flavour profile.
Nose: Salty notes which are nicely balanced out by a helping of sweetness. The nose can overall be described as delicate, elegant and charming.
Palate: Cut grass juiciness with a mouth watering malty signature which is restrained by sweetness, caressed by soft oak.
Finish: Medium length with oak balancing characteristics not to mention a malty reprise.
soft kumquats mingle with the even softer barley. A trace of drier mint and chalk dust points towards the shy oak. Harmonious and dovetails beautifully; sharp juicy barley - almost fruity - fuses with sharper oak. The mouth-watering house style appears to fatten out as gentle oils emerge and then give way for a spicy middle; long, with those teasing, playful spices pepping up the continued barley theme. Dries as a 15 year old ought but the usual bitterness is kept in check by the prevailing malt; the spices keep the taste buds on full alert but the richness and depth of the barley defies the years. Another exhibition of Glencadam's understated elegance. Some more genius malt creation...
