It was built in 1967 by Mackinlay-McPherson and was traded around several notable distilling companies before being sold to Billy Walker in 2017.
Glenallachie is a malt whisky distillery in Aberlour founded in 1967. Billy Walker, Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage came together as The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Ltd to purchase the distillery in 2017.
Across the senior team the three directors of The GlenAllachie Distillers Company have almost 100 years experience in the Scotch whisky industry.
This vintage 2011 Glenallachie was expertly matured in a single Oloroso puncheon for 11 years before being bottled at a powerful 60.5% ABV.

Enjoy this single cask whisky for its delicate notes of dried flowers and ginger with bursts of cinnamon and black cherry on the palate.
Nose: Rich sweet sherry, dried fruits (apricot, raisin, cherry, blueberry), orange zest, and woody notes. Often includes notes of white chocolate, caramel, nougat, vanilla, and roasted almonds.
Palate: Mouth-coating with a sharp, high ABV kick. It features heavy dark chocolate, treacle, orange marmalade, raisins, dried figs, and heavy cinnamon spice.
Finish: Very long and dry, with notes of espresso, assorted dark chocolates, orange marmalade, and cookie dough
