A 15 year old whisky from Inverness's Glen Mhor distillery which has been closed since 1983 and demolished 3 years later.
This was bottled by Gordon & Macphail for the Distillery Labels series and this bottle is great for any whisky lover out there to experience what this Rare Old from Glen Mhor just has to provide.
Bottled sometime in the 1990s.
Please note as this is a vintage bottle, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary - Some years can vary as estimations only (example: estimated 1970s/80s).
Nose: Green apples with plenty more refreshing fruits. In addition, cereals, muesli and some pepper. In the background a little peat fire is noticeable.
Palate: Robust, only very little fruit, but some bitter flavours. Cheesecake, roasted malt, peat smoke and a little tarragon.
Finish: Long and many bitter substances, caramel and currants.
