This is a special no-age-statement bottle originally for the Japanese market from Glen Elgin distillery.

Glen Elgin distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland.
It was founded in 1898 by William Simpson, James Carle, and George Cooper, and is currently owned by Diageo.
The distillery is known for producing whisky with a light, fruity character and a hint of spiciness. Glen Elgin uses traditional methods of whisky production, including floor malting, which involves spreading malted barley on the floor of the malting house to allow it to germinate.
Please note as this is a vintage bottle, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary - Some years can vary as estimations only (example: estimated 1970s/80s).
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.
Finish: Teasing, heathery, delicious.
