Burnt well for the first half before needing a slight touch up, perfect draw , dry smoke texture, flaky ash doesn't hold well, long finish, peppery on the opening which steadily declined throughout the cigar disappearing entirely in the final 3rd replaced by a slight charcoal flavour, woody notes in the first 3rd with a bitter hay, second 3rd earthy with bready finish, final 3rd still bread and earth but no pepper.
I'd would have rated a 3 i just really don't like pepper as a flavour note but the cigar was of decently constructed just not to my taste.
There are cigars for less that perform just as well and the Oliva Serie G perfecto while being smaller is a much better cigar flavour wise at the same price point.
This is a cigar I'd smoke if a friend gave it to me but i wouldn't purchase it over other options at this price point.
