Its thin metal, pretty much the same as youd get with a tubed cigar, so is more than appropriate for chucking in a bag or pocket. Crucially it consists of two tubes that push together and create (at least for temporary use) a good air seal. …

Definitely not for short cigars, these are massive and carry a bit of weight, Would be good for a longer and thicker cigar.
