The Diplomáticos Cancilleres is a premium Cuban cigar and an exciting new addition to the regular Diplomáticos portfolio. Diplomáticos is a relatively recent Habanos brand, established in the 1960s. All its cigars are medium to full in flavour and are made using tobacco leaves from the famous Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.
Although the brand has been selected on several occasions for Regional Edition releases, for an extended period Diplomáticos No. 2 was the only vitola in the regular portfolio. Cancilleres therefore represents the first addition to the brand's permanent portfolio in many years, making it a particularly notable release for lovers and collectors of Cuban cigars.
The Cancilleres takes its name from the highest diplomatic rank, "Canciller", and is presented in the traditional 25 dressed box. The size known as Centrofinos in Cuban factories falls within what is commonly referred to as a Robusto vitola, giving this cigar a generous 50 ring gauge and 130mm length.
Totally handmade in Cuba using tobacco leaves from the renowned Vuelta Abajo region, the Diplomáticos Cancilleres combines traditional Habanos craftsmanship with a substantial format.
