    Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva is a very moreish rum, with notes of cinnamon, candied orange peel, molasses and dark chocolate shavings.
     
    A fabulous smart looking Venezuelan rum, Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva, distilled from molasses in a copper pot still before 12 years of ageing.

  • Nose: Big, complex and very characterful. Fruit cake, rum and raisin ice cream, cocoa and some spices feature as well as oak, vanilla and a deeper note of syrupy gingerbread, with hints of orange zest.

    Palate: Rich and full, initially very chocolatey bursting with the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose. The texture is very generous, rounded by the oak.

    Finish: Flakes of Terry's dark chocolate orange sprinkled over melted vanilla ice cream.
