The first reviewer got it right, the overriding taste is salty digestive. I loved it but ultimately, I prefer Cuban tobacco. Nevertheless, a wonderful alternative with construction quality that others can only dream of.


I find this cigar too strong for my liking. Not much in terms of flavour, just strong tobacco taste and a massive hit of nicotine. Good smoke output, I prefer a bit of a tighter draw. Just not for me.


Another excellent offering from Davidoff. A close second behind my favourite, the Escurio (which is a totally different beast). It had a chocolatey undercurrent throughout that develops into a strong, creamy, rich finish. Sharper coffee notes to start that develop into pine before smoothing out into the deep dark deliciousness on the finish. As with other Davidoffs I smoked it down to the nub and enjoyed it throughout.


Good quality cigar that had a slightly salty digestive biscuit flavour with a faint creamy background and occasional hint of grass.

