  • The Dalmore 15 year old is smooth, rich and well rounded: the epitome of The Dalmore house style - A robust, yet elegant spirit.

    Launched in 2007, the 15 Year Old is one of the most popular expressions in the core Dalmore range.

    Wood portrait:
    This delicate and approachable vintage is initially matured for 12 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. The character is then achieved by splitting the whisky equally between three different sherry woods: Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem oloroso for a further three years.

    The spirit is finally married together in an upstanding sherry butt, allowing the flavours to infuse.

  • Nose: Generous and sweet with delicious toffee, medium sherry and ripe oranges with an aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and orange marmalade.

    Palate: Mandarin, vanilla, ginger and crushed apples. Sherry and Christmas spices.

    Finish: Relatively long, nutty with hints of vanilla, yet more Christmas spices and oak.

This whisky is very soft and fruity on the palate, the flavours remind me of christmas with sherry, orange, nutmeg and cinnamon. Ill be buying another bottle in time for christmas!


High-grade scotch, very smooth yet flavourful. Sweet and savoury with lots of interesting features. Quite delicious as expected from the Dalmore family, a very nice whisky with a rich and smooth taste. It's a beautifully velvety, balanced and enjoyable drink!

