    The distillery say they have purposely retained at 46.5% ABV to complement the enticing warm flavours of the port and the classic taste of The Dalmore to create a whisky which is indulgent, smooth and complex.
     
    Dalmore are known for their dedication to sourcing some of the best and most influential casks around and this new release showcases that ethos to perfection.
     
    Wood Portrait:
    The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve has been matured initially in American white oak casks and then split half remaining in American oak and half transferred to Tawny port pipes.
     
    A stunning, fruity and complex example from this renowned Highland distillery!
     

  • Nose: Sweet red berries, Seville oranges, plummy fruits and sticky toffee pudding.

    Palate: Nectarines, creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts and Java coffee.

    Finish: Sultanas, Sanguinello blood oranges and macerated cherries.

This is a hidden gem! sweet and tasty with flavours of caramel and orange with a coffee after taste which keeps making me want to drink more

