This super rare Speyside single malt was laid down in 1983 at one of Scotland's silent distilleries, Dallas Dhu, and bottled in the mid-noughties especially for Historic Scotland - the Government body that now run this former distillery as a museum.
This limited edition celebrates the craftsmanship that began under the design of Alexander Edward and persisted through challenges like the 1939 fire.
Bottled at 46% ABV and presented in a 700 ml format, this whisky offers a remarkable opportunity to experience a bygone era of Scotch whisky production.
Aged for 23 long years, this is one of just 261 bottles.

Nose: Offers sweet barley, cake frosting, vanilla, and waxy notes. It can show high-pitched, delicate floral aromas (daffodils), linseed oil, and light fruits like peach and lemon zest.
Palate: Characterized by a creamy and slightly waxy texture, typical of the distillery. Notes include creamy malt, custard, and sweet, stewed fruits.
Finish: A light to medium finish featuring vanilla, toffee, and a mild, gentle oak spice.
