Description

A single cask 2009 Daftmill, aged in an Oloroso sherry butt.

Francis uses his own excellent barley, distilled on a small scale, to produce Daftmill Single Malt whisky. Made with Optic barley, grown on their south fields.

One of 700 bottles, this is a UK exclusive.

Please note, stock is limited from secondary market releases.

 

Tasting Notes

A heavy maturation period in a sherry cask gives this Daftmill a rich and fruity character. There is some warming spice which lingers, with oak also.
