Originally introduced as a highly sought-after, limited-edition release under the Las Calaveras EL 2014 banner, the blend was so universally praised by enthusiasts that Crowned Heads brought it back as a permanent, regular-production staple.

Founded in 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee, Crowned Heads was born out of a desire to preserve the soul of artisanal cigar making.
The company was launched by Jon Huber and Mike Conder, both long-time premium industry veterans and former executives at CAO Cigars. When corporate mergers threatened to strip away the culture and relationships they spent years building, Huber and Conder chose to break away and "carve their own path" as an independent boutique brand.
