The name is a clever play on words that honours both the vibrant, neon-lit Lower Broadway entertainment district in Crowned Heads' hometown of Nashville and the dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper used to create it.

Notably, the Broadway line marks a historic milestone for the company. It is the very first release to launch Crowned Heads' comprehensive brand portfolio redesign, showcasing an elegant new primary hero logo alongside a dedicated secondary blend band.

Founded in 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee, Crowned Heads was born out of a desire to preserve the soul of artisanal cigar making.

The company was launched by Jon Huber and Mike Conder, both long-time premium industry veterans and former executives at CAO Cigars. When corporate mergers threatened to strip away the culture and relationships they spent years building, Huber and Conder chose to break away and "carve their own path" as an independent boutique brand.
