The J. Cortes High Class Dominican Corona (White Tubed) is a nice, decent sized cigar that offers good value for money. ItÂ’s mild and smooth with no harshness or lingering aftertaste, which makes it an easy smoke, especially if you prefer something lighter. The constructionÂ’s solid, and the tube makes it handy to store without worrying about a humidor for a while.
For me though, itÂ’s just a bit too mild. I found myself wishing for a bit more depth or a touch of sweetness on the lips, which this one doesnÂ’t really have. Still, itÂ’s a pleasant, uncomplicated cigar and a good option if you like mellow flavours or want something to enjoy without too much intensity.
