After a five weeks in the humidor I smoked the second of these. It has softened in flavour and produced impressive gouts of smoke. Not an even burn. In short, it improved with keeping, but my overall rating has not changed. A passable social smoke.

A big, bold V8 of a cigar. Ticklish to start, once burning this surprisingly free-drawing beast is a potential 90 minute smoke, if you can take it. The wrapper is delicate so a dry mouth is needed. The uncompromising strength, and bitter edge, forced my surrender halfway down, but that is not to…
