The Asylum 13 Arabian Nights is a new line that is inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, a collection of Middle Eastern folk stories that were first published in the 18th Century. Christian Eiroa said that he was inspired by the stories and used them to guide the both the blend and the packaging.

The blend features tobacco from the Pinareño seed. In the 1940s, Cuban cigars were known for three main seeds; Corojo, Criollo and Pinareño. It was Daniel Rodriguez who brought his family’s Corojo seed to Central America, only to discontinue growing it in Nicaragua in 1979. Corojo lay dormant for 21 years until Christian Eiroa introduced the Camacho Corojo at the then PCA in 2000.

Today, 26 years later, Eiroa want to re introduce the Pinareño - a different seed with a unique history. This is the original seed from the Cuban Land and Tobacco Company brought to Honduras by Tino Argudin in 1962. This seed has not been grown for decades and is now ready for its grand debut.

No other details of the blend have been disclosed, all we do know is that these cigars are made at the CLE factory in Honduras.
